Summary

A carrier wanting to organise cabotage must obtain authorisation from the FPS Mobility and Transport, in accordance with European Regulation 1073/2009. Our services are consulted so they can give an opinion on this request for authorisation.

In detail

Procedure

A request is sent to us by the FPS Mobility and Transport. When we receive it, we consult the appropriate OTW.

The OTW sends us its opinion on the file. We are free to follow the advice of the OTW or not.

We then submit our opinion to the FPS, which will issue the authorisation on the basis of this opinion. The opinion is also sent to the AOT as part of the collaboration with them.
