Since 1 April 2016, the Eurovignette system has been replaced by the mileage tax, which is applicable across Belgium.
The mileage tax is a per-kilometre fee for all vehicles with a maximum authorised mass (MAM) that exceeds 3.5 tonnes. Relevant vehicles include lorries or articulated vehicle assemblies (lorries with trailers or tractors with semi-trailers) that are intended or used ? partially or exclusively ? to transport goods by road.
