Summary
Any person who is a national of a Member State of the European Union or of any other State to which Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications applies, and who has obtained their professional qualifications as an escort in a Member State other than Belgium, may have their professional qualifications recognised by the administration, with a view to exercising the activity of escort in the Walloon Region.
In order to submit their application for recognition of professional qualifications and attach all the documents required for its assessment, candidates must use the form.

In detail
The candidate must submit an application for recognition of professional qualifications on the My Space platform, using the form provided.
Once our department has received the application, the level of training required is assessed. A decision on whether or not to grant recognition of professional qualifications is sent to the candidate.
If the application is not granted, the candidate must take the theoretical competency test.
The cost of applying for recognition of professional qualifications is €30.
The administration shall notify the accompanying candidate electronically within five working days of receiving the application whether it is complete or incomplete.

For people of other nationalities: download, complete and return the ‘Declaration of honour’ document available on our website. - A copy of the attestation of professional competence: This clearly shows that the certificate of professional competence relates to the escorting of abnormal loads; This provides contact details for the government, or the agency designated by the government, that issued the document.
