The plenary sessions of the Parliament of Wallonia and its committees are, in principle, public. However, in certain cases that are provided for by Walloon parliamentary legislation, the sessions are held on a closed-door basis. For example, this is the case for certain budgetary matters, as well as for certain committees, such as the Credentials committee, the Prosecutions committee or the Arms-licensing sub-committee.

Access to plenary sessions and public committee meetings is granted to any adult citizen.

Any session may, with exceptions, be recorded, in whole or in part, by radio, television or other media.
