In detail
To obtain accreditation, a training centre must meet the following conditions:
- be able to organise training and examinations;
- be able to organise continuing training;
- have qualified teaching staff*;
- have the technical equipment necessary for the smooth running of training courses and examinations;
- not have been subject, within the three years prior to submitting an application for accreditation, to a decision to withdraw accreditation.
*The following are considered qualified teaching staff:
- teaching staff who have held accreditation as BEP certifier of public buildings for at least two years and who obtained a mark of at least 16.00/20 in the examination following training as a BEP certifier of public buildings.
or
- qualified teaching staff included in the reserve list drawn up by the Minister or their delegate: PDF reserve list of trainers (PDF, 522 KB).
Furthermore, teaching staff must not have been subject to any sanctions under the applicable decrees and regulations on building energy performance within the three years prior to their appointment as a trainer.
- The application for accreditation must be submitted by letter or delivered against receipt to the administration using the form, duly completed and signed: DOCX form (DOCX, 48 KB).
- The application for accreditation may be sent, using the form duly completed and signed, by email to secretariatenergie.dgo4@spw.wallonie.be. The subject line must read as follows: DEBD-DBD. As an attachment in PDF format: a copy of the form, signed either by hand or digitally.
- The application for accreditation may be submitted via Mon Espace.
If accreditation is granted, the centre will be assigned an accreditation number.
Within 10 days of receiving the form, the administration will send an acknowledgement of receipt, stating the date on which the form was received, the deadline within which the decision must be made, the available remedies and the competent bodies. In addition, any information missing from the application will be requested.
The Minister will grant or refuse accreditation within 40 days of notification of receipt of the complete file.
