An official extract is an official administrative document issued by the Soil-State Database (BDES).
The official extract, which was introduced by the soil decree of 1 March 2018, aims to provide a greater degree of legal security for property transactions.
It summarises a selection of useful information regarding the administrative knowledge of the state of the soil. The elements detailed therein may be obtained directly in the BDES. This official extract is required for most notarised documents and for many urban-planning/environmental permits.
